Dorothy Meets Ozma of Oz is a 28 minute cartoon adaptation made in 1987

In Oz once again, Dorothy meets TikTok the mechanical man, servant of Princess Lulu.

Children's author Dorothy Gale makes a decent living continuing her grandfather's series of Oz books. When a new agent enters the scene, Dorothy moves to New York city. In the midst of a major business deal for her books, Dorothy discovers that her books are not based on her imagination, but on repressed memories. While Dorothy struggles with the revelation, she is forced to confront The Wicked Witch of the West, who has descended upon the Big Apple, determined to settle an old score.

Dorothy introduces Oz to Christmas and of course Oz adds a few traditions of it's own. Santa comes to deliver holiday cheer and presents to all. The Wicked Witch has kidnapped Santa in an attempt to steal his magic.

A freak tornado pulls Dorothy Gale into the wicked world of Oz just in time for the down-on-her-luck Kansas farm girl to confront Glinda, a starving cannibal who finds herself all out of Munchkin meat. Things go downhill from there, as Dorothy goes head-to-head (literally) against a skull-cracking Scarecrow, a Tin Man whose hobby is to collect still-beating hearts and a Cowardly Lion who pleases his master by ripping apart anyone he sees. Oz becomes Ooze as Dorothy – armed with scavenged weapons – battles her way through hordes of psychotic enemies until she finally happens upon her ultimate nemesis, the Wicked of Oz.

Dorothy Banks was an effervescent and somewhat liberated former Broadway showgirl who took a job teaching music and drama at the Hannah Huntley School for Girls, a somewhat old-fashioned institution in Connecticut. While some of the faculty (like French teacher Miss Cathcart and biology instructor Mr. Landis) found Dorothy's methods a bit off-putting, her students, including Meredith, Frankie, Margo and Cissy, thought she was wonderful. And a neat singer and dancer to boot.

In the year 1550, Sir George Vernon agrees to have his young daughter Dorothy betrothed to John Manners, the son of the Earl of Rutland. Sir George signs a contract, promising that the marriage will take place on Dorothy's 18th birthday, or else he will have to pay a large penalty to Rutland. But when the two children have grown older, rumors of John's wild behavior in France provoke Sir George to call off the engagement, and to pledge his daughter instead to her cousin Malcolm. Rutland now claims the forfeit from Sir George, and meanwhile, John has befriended Mary Stuart, the sworn enemy of Elizabeth, who is now Queen of England.

L.Frank Baum's classic. Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are whisked away from their home in Kansas and find themselves in the magical land of Oz. While on her journey to find the Wizard, hoping he will help her to return home, Dorothy meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. Together they destroy the Wicked Witch and make it to the Emerald City.
